Joint research on the infection suppression effect of photocatalysts
In a joint study by the Department of Internal Medicine at Nihon University School of Medicine and Caltech Co., Ltd., results showed that a sterilizing and deodorizing machine equipped with a photocatalyst is expected to be effective in preventing infectious diseases.
The results of this research are expected to contribute to the prevention of infectious diseases caused not only by the new coronavirus but also by common bacteria, viruses, and fungi in practical environments for patients with weakened immune systems who are vulnerable to infection.
