A photocatalytic sterilization and deodorization machine has been installed at "Protected Cat Cafe Nekokatsu"
We are pleased to announce that Caltech Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Marubeni Chemix Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masatoshi Kinuhata) and the General Incorporated Association Pet Interior Association (Head office: Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; Representative Director: Naoko Abeno), has installed Caltech's photocatalytic sterilization and deodorization machine at the cat shelter cafe Nekokatsu (General Incorporated Association; Representative Director: Tatsuya Umeda), realizing the creation of an "odorless cat shelter cafe."

| There are around 50 rescued cats here at any one time, making it one of the largest rescue cat facilities in the country. With that many cats, there is bound to be some cat odor, but since installing Caltech's photocatalytic sterilization and deodorization machine, there is almost no odor at all. We are proud that we are the only place in the country that can do this. We would like to express our gratitude to Caltech for this, as it is truly possible thanks to their cooperation. It is also really helpful that there is no maintenance work required. We are impressed with Caltech's technology, and we look forward to seeing more in the future. |
